Bill Walton was at the Grateful Dead New Year's Eve show wearing robes and a beard and waving a lightsaber
Bill Walton spent his whole summer standing with arms aloft while attending concerts of (what remains of) the Grateful Dead on what was billed as their final tour. Well, the Dead didn't stop touring, so Walton didn't stop attending their concerts while waving his arms.
Via Andy Sternberg, that is Walton wearing a huge beard, a robe and a garland while waving a dang light saber at the Dead & Company New Year's Eve show. I imagine he's already tough to stand behind at a concert even *before* he starts waving his arms, and now he's extended his reach with intergalactic weaponry.
Looks like Jedi Wizard Walton hopped on stage for the ball drop, too:
Bless you, Bill Walton.
