Sheen loses head over topless bar's VIP room named for him

You might think Charlie Sheen would embrace having a New York strip club VIP room named in his honor, but he doesn't think it's a winning idea. Sheen's lawyers have reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to Cheetahs topless bar threatening to sue for millions if their client's name isn't removed from a room in which, for $250 each, guests eat sushi off the bodies of the club's "goddesses." The lawyers contend the use of Sheen's name "would be detrimental to his persona," but the club owner wonders, "How could sushi damage Charlie Sheen's reputation?" One of Sheen's lawyers said the lawsuit was just business. Perhaps the warlock has his own sushi VIP room planned?

A Cocoa Beach, Fla., motel is looking to raise profits by allowing guests to go "clothing-optional."  The owner of the Fawlty Towers Motel reportedly made the decision (whom did he consult?) after years of bad business and increasing competition from larger hotel chains.  Nude guests, however, will be allowed only inside the motel and could face criminal charges (what kind?) if they go outdoors.

Kate's video was first posted on Terry Richardson's website.

The Kate Upton cat daddy video that has been such a viral hit on YouTube is too sexy for the online video sharing network.
The incredible bouncing action occurs during a photo shoot with brilliant photographer Terry Richardson.
The video features Kate in a tiny little bikini that is struggling against gravity and nature to hold Upton's curves as she bounces all over while performing the Cat Daddy.
The video was first posted on Terry Richardson's website, Terry's Diary and when sharing the link on Twitter, the famed fashion photographer wrote, "Kate Upton demonstrates the 'Cat Daddy' directed by Terry Richardson."
YouTube's community guidelines state that "YouTube is not for pornography or sexually explicit content" and that "most nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context. Generally if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is less likely to be acceptable for YouTube."

Rihanna posts photo of herself declaring that she is "faded" after a night of partying.

Rihanna woke up Wednesday morning stating that she felt like a "sinner" after posting photos of herself with strippers at a club.

Tuesday night Rihanna posted photos of herself while on a late night excursion. The photos, which appeared on Instagram, revealed the pop star dancing with different strippers. Rihanna also proceeded to "shower" dollar bills over the dancers.
"My daddy would be proud," Rihanna tweeted in one caption.
The pictures are the second string of photos which have brought controversy to the star in recent weeks. Last month, photos were revealed of Rihanna at the Coachella concert sitting atop a man's shoulders. The man appeared to have a powdery white substance on his bald head which some suggested was cocaine.
The star however, has declared that she is not on coke; others stated the powder was "obviously" marijuana.
Rihanna has also constantly spoken out about not wanting to be a role model for others, despite the number of young girls that look up to her.

"People - especially white people - they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead," she said in a British Vogue interview in October 2011. "The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and [being a role model] became more of my job than I wanted it to be."
As part of her apparent protest against being a figure for others to look up to, Rihanna posted an additional photo Tuesday night with the caption that read "RoleModelS---."
However, the next day, even the star admitted that she may have gone a bit too far.
"Woke up repenting!! Feelin like a sinner," Rihanna tweeted the next day, after admitting the night before that she had been "faded," which means intoxicated or otherwise not sober.
Fans showed concern over the stars antics that appear to be spiraling out of control.
"I feel she is in a dark place right now. Not because a woman 'owning her sexuality' is a bad thing - it's a great thing! I just challenge her claims that she's the one in control right now," Michelle Ciccone wrote on the People blog.
"I've loved and defended Rihanna's whole vibe, UNTIL that pic she tweeted of the bag of rice that was clearly a jab at Chris Brown's half Asian girlfriend. Overt sexuality is just fine. Racism? Ignorant and immature and really telling," she continued.

ALLMAN POSTPONING BOOK TOUR

Gregg Allman postponing book tour for heart tests

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Gregg Allman is delaying his upcoming book tour for heart tests. Allman is scheduled to undergo tests Friday at The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., the same facility where he underwent a liver transplant in June 2010.

Just as it seemed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member was finally over the effects of his liver transplant two years ago, he's been forced to delay his upcoming book tour to promote his new memoir, "My Cross to Bear," for heart tests.
But in a phone interview Thursday afternoon he seemed in good spirits as he described his latest health problem.
"It's just one of those make-sure tests, you know," Allman said. "My heart goes into A Fib (atrial fibrillation) and does those beats - you know, instead of going du-dun, du-dun, du-dun, it goes ta-da-dat-ta-da-doot-doot. There's a little reggae in there somewhere."
Allman is scheduled to undergo tests Friday at The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. He had a liver transplant due to Hepatitis C at the same clinic in 2010 and has been steadily recovering since, though he's been forced to cancel or postpone performances from time to time because of setbacks.
He recently had hernia surgery related to the transplant and says he feels as well as he has in some time. It's unclear if his heart problems are related to the transplant
The co-founder of The Allman Brothers Band and a key figure in rock 'n' roll joined his band mates at last weekend's Wanee Festival in Florida.
"That's our festival down there," Allman said. "The Allman Brothers started it. I didn't play the whole set, but I played both nights. In all I might've done 10 songs maybe. It was a lot of fun."
Allman will begin his book tour May 8 if doctors turn up no significant problems. He also plans to hit the road this summer with the Allman Brothers, something he feels he owes his fans.
"I know there's been a lot of people that have had their hearts set - God bless 'em - on seeing me and my boys perform and seeing me and the Brothers perform," Allman said. "And because of this virus and all these damned surgeries, I had to cancel. I've always really held that sacred and a no-show I am not. I'd like extend my apology to them. It's just kind of a bigger bump than I expected in the road, and as of this summer I'll be there with bells on in the future."

Amanda Seyfried Transforms in First Poster for 'Lovelace'

Film is based on Eric Danville's bio 'The Complete Linda Lovelace'

For awhile there, it looked like cinephiles and history buffs alike would be gifted with two different films that focused on the life of porn-star-turned-feminist-crusader Linda Lovelace, but as is often the case in these situations, one feature has come out so far ahead that it appears the other may never get made.

Emerging likely victorious is Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's "Lovelace." Whereas the other Lovelace project, "Inferno," has yet to even get made (that's the one that would have starred Malin Akerman), the "Howl" filmmakers already have a completed film to sell at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

This one stars Amanda Seyfried as Lovelace, with a compelling supporting cast that includes Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, James Franco, Eric Roberts, Adam Brody, Chloe Sevigny, and Sarah Jessica Parker. The film is specifically based on Eric Danville's biography "The Complete Linda Lovelace," and it "follows Linda Boreman's rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972's 'Deep Throat,' and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano." Lovelace's story is specifically "told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life." The role will likely be a transformative one for Seyfried, and the film's first poster (released this week) shows just how much she's been able to disappear into the role.

"Lovelace" does not currently have a release date, but this poster is marked as a piece of sales art for the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, will the film will likely sell to a distributor who will release it soon enough. Check out a larger version of the poster (thanks to Latino Review and ComingSoon) after the break.

Nude photo of pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio posted to Facebook (© Alessandra Ambrosio/Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott for Vivara via Facebook, http://aka.ms/ambrosionude)

Victoria's Secret model posts nude, pregnant Facebook pics

Pregnant Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio apparently sees no reason to halt her career while she's expecting, or to suddenly embrace modesty and a maternity muumuu. Ambrosio sent her fans into an appreciative frenzy this week by posting a moody photograph of herself -- nude but for a few sparkly baubles and beautifully swollen with child -- on her Facebook page. The photo, above, was shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for a Vivara jewelry ad. Ambrosio's Facebook fans were effusive. "A gorgeous bump!" gushed one commenter. "Beautiful!! The best photo she ever took," said another. We're just wondering if Vivara is trying to corner the "push present" market.
