Pull up to the window: Swiss city OK's drive-in sex booths
A new law passed by voters in the Swiss city of Zurich allows
prostitutes there to entertain johns in a way usually reserved for ordering
burgers — in drive-in booths. A referendum passed this year allows
for the creation of sex booths in an attempt to regulate the sex industry in the
city. The booths, which will open next August, will be confined to the outskirts
of Zurich, where accommodations will be made for about 30 prostitutes and their
customers. The booths will have parking spaces, alarm buttons and an on-site
counselor. Would you like fries with that shake?
