Hef Buys Wife Crystal Harris $5 Million House … and Yes, It’s Really Nice

Redfin
When it eventually comes time for Hugh Hefner to leave us for that big Playboy Mansion in the sky, his new bride won’t have to worry about where she’ll end up.

The 87-year-old mogul has bought his wife, 27-year-old former Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris a stunning 6,000-square-foot pad off Hollywood’s Sunset Strip for nearly $5 million, according to real estate website Redfin. The two married in December. The happy couple. (Michael Buckner/WireImage)The property was purchased for exactly $4.995 million by a joint trust under the name “HMCH,CRYSTAL 2013 TRUST.” That means that, despite the fact that Harris reportedly hasn’t been put in Hef’s will, she’ll be able to live in the home after he dies, since she’s an owner.
Speaking of owners, the previous one, according to Redfin, is video game producer and Internet entrepreneur Jason Rubin, who bought the plot of land for $710,000 back in 2004 and had the house custom built. How much Rubin spent on building the house is unknown, and the listing agent did not return omg!’s call for comment.
The modern architectural house includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms, sits on more than a half acre, and has a glass wall in the living room that opens up completely to the yard. According to the listing, the home features plenty of luxurious amenities like a glass infinity pool and spa, a home theater (Hef loves his movies!) that opens to a game and entertainment area, walnut floors, and a custom kitchen by the high-end Bontempi Group out of Italy.
Not that we imagine Harris as the cooking type (or eating type, for that matter), but, hey, you never know.
