Bruce Springsteen, E Street Band play record four-hour show
Billboard
Bruce Springsteen is known for his marathon shows, but the Boss has set himself a new record.
At Springsteen and the E Street Band's final European show on the current Wrecking Ball tour Tuesday night, the group played four hours and six minutes at Finland's Helsinki Olympic Stadium, according to fan reports. The tour's been full of lengthy shows, with the band reportedly clocking in at 3:48 during a Madrid gig on June 17.
And the 33-song set's run time doesn't count a handful of songs Springsteen played in acoustic form as a treat for pre-show early birds.
U.S. fans can start their stopwatches this summer, with the band returning to North America beginning August 14 in Boston. The tour will extend through December, with the final current date scheduled for Dec. 6 in Glendale, Ariz.
